I have been an illustrator for 16 years. In that time I have had the good fortune of working on just about every kind of job an illustrator is exposed to. The common thread to what I do is problem solving. Before illustration I spent eight years in advertising and a few more in design specifically and the principles inherent in that form of communication have been the foundation for what I do now.
My time is split between commercial art and painting and the two, though different, provide lessons that are used in each form of art.
